How do I manage notifications?

TeachMe.To coaches choose which notifications they get, and where, inside the Coach App. Banners, sounds, and badges follow your phone’s notification settings.

Here’s how to manage everything:

See Your Notifications

Tap the bell at the top of the Home screen. It opens your Notifications list. A badge on the bell shows how many are new.

Choose What You Get and Where

1. Open the Coach App
2. From the Home screen, tap the three lines (≡) in the top-left corner
3. Tap Notifications to open Notification settings
4. Turn each topic on or off for Push notifications, Email, and SMS:
   • Lesson reminders
   • Upcoming lessons & schedule changes
   • New bookings
   • Messages
   • News & tips

You can also turn Vibrations on or off on the same screen.

Turn Progress Report Reminders On or Off

The app can remind you to write a progress report after each lesson.

1. Tap the Profile tab
2. Tap To do
3. Turn Progress reports on or off

When you turn it off, tap Turn off reminders to confirm.

New Student Alerts

When a new student buys lessons with you, the app sends you one New student! notification. Tap it to learn about your student.

Phone Notification Settings

Your phone controls how Coach App notifications look and sound:

• iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Coach App
• Android: Settings → Apps → Coach App → Notifications

From there, you can enable or disable:

• Banners
• Badges
• Sounds
• Lock screen alerts

Manage Coach Community Emails

If you use the CoachGrow coach community, we email you when:

• A coach tags you in a post or reply
• Someone replies to your post or to your comment
• Coaches react to what you shared. This comes as one summary email a day, at most.

All three are on until you turn them off.

Step-by-Step: Turn Community Emails On or Off

1. Sign in to your dashboard at app.coachgrow.com
2. Open Settings
3. Under Notifications, find the Email section
4. Toggle Community mentions, Community replies, or Community reactions

Changes save right away. Every community email also has a Manage community emails link that opens these settings.

To tag a coach yourself, type @ in a post or reply and choose their name from the list.
