Previously with a UTR of 13.3 and a PTR certification, my coaching emphasis is on the mental aspects of the game. My innate curiosity has always driven me to understand the thought processes players undergo, especially when facing challenges on the court. Bio: I've dedicated my career to tennis, with six years spent coaching high school boys' and girls' teams at various local schools. I then moved on to coach for 20 years at Gwynedd Mercy College, where I led men's and women's teams for 13 years and exclusively the women's team for 20 years. Under my guidance, we won 13 conference championships and qualified for the NCAA playoff tournament 13 times. I'm proud to have been named Coach of the Year 11 times and received three major USTA awards. I hold the sixth-highest winning percentage among all Division III coaches on the ITA all-time list.

Bio: Kamala attended St. Michael's Academy before studying Commerce at Loyola College Chennai. His tennis career saw him achieve an ATP ranking of #800 in Singles and #500 in Doubles. Now residing in Philadelphia, PA, Kamala is excited to compete in the Groft Charity Classic again this year.

I proudly represented my country for 7 years on the Davis Cup team, consistently ranked as National No. 2 in singles and doubles for many years. As a coach, I specialize in developing players of all levels—from beginners to advanced juniors. My approach focuses on building strong fundamentals, teaching the right technique, and helping each child maximize their potential through a personalized and motivating coaching style. His 30+ years of teaching include 6 NJCAA National Titles coaching with Tyler Junior College, including 6 individual Rolex National Champions. He has directed community and country club programs in Florida and Texas and started Jedi Tennis LLC, here in Philadelphia, in 2008, as well as The South Philadelphia Tennis Association in 2010.
