Amen is an active tennis player with a peak UTR of 12 in singles and 12 in doubles. Certified Ptr level 1. His ongoing experience as a player helps him deeply understand the challenges beginners or any tennis player face. He’s been coaching for 8 years and brings a wealth of experience from both competing and teaching. I’ve represented my country internationally and competed in France, Egypt, Kenya, Botswana, Nigeria, Ghana, and Togo. With years of experience working with players of different ages and skill levels, I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their technique, and reach their goals on and off the court.

I’ve been a Floridian my entire life until I made the move up to Virginia last Spring with my wife and 3 dogs. I’ve been a certified athletic trainer, high school teacher and tennis coach for the past 20 years. I became a USPTA teaching professional about 10 years ago and have taught kids as young as 5 to adults as old as 65. I’ve coached the Gainesville High School girls tennis team the past 2 years. I believe tennis is truly a sport of a lifetime that can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities.
