Former ATP Challenger player and hitting partner for pros like Osaka, Medvedev, and Rublev. Coaching since age 14, I bridge the gap between grassroots fundamentals and pro-tour tactics. I work with competitive juniors and ambitious adults, specializing in elite mechanics, match strategy, and high-performance hitting. Your first lesson involves a full baseline rally evaluation to assess your strokes, footwork, and goals so we can build a customized roadmap for your tennis journey.
"I’ve been taking lessons with Poom for a while now, and the experience has been absolutely fantastic. As an older person, it can be incredibly frustrating trying to unlearn bad habits or figure out why a certain shot just isn't landing, but this guy has been a real gift for making the complex mechanics of tennis easy to understand. He doesn't just tell you what to do but he takes the time to explain why you are doing it, which has completely changed the way I approach my game. Within the first few sessions, he identified a few tiny tweaks in my footwork and racquet preparation that immediately added more power and consistency to my swings. He is incredibly patient and always knows exactly how to balance pushing me out of my comfort zone with keeping the sessions enjoyable. You definitely get an intense workout in, but you’re having so much fun hitting the ball and seeing real time improvement that you hardly even notice the fatigue. Beyond just the technical strokes, he has also been great at teaching match strategy and helping me build better mental focus during rallies. Whether you are a total beginner wanting to build a rock-solid foundation, or an experienced player looking to refine your technique and take your skills to the next level, I cannot recommend Poom highly enough. He is a truly dedicated coach who genuinely cares about his students' progress, and my confidence on the court has skyrocketed since we started working together.

"Working with Coach Nik has been such a positive experience for both me and my daughter. From the beginning, Nik has been encouraging, professional, and genuinely invested in my daughter’s growth as a player. Ive seen so much improvement in her skills, confidence, and overall love for the game. I also really appreciate how supportive and communicative Nik has been throughout the process. I’m very grateful for the time, effort, and care Nik puts into coaching.
Driven by a passion for helping players improve, I combine high-level ATP experience with a structured, high-energy coaching style. Ranked among the top hundreds on the ATP tour and #3 nationally, I help adults and juniors develop strong technique, effective footwork, match strategy, and confidence under pressure. "Been playing tennis for years and thought I had a pretty solid understanding of the game until I started working with Tom lol. He completely changed the way I approach tennis. It’s not just about hitting better shots. He’s taught me so much about positioning, footwork, strategy, and understanding what’s actually happening during a point. One thing I really appreciate is how much attention he pays to the details. He’ll notice something tiny in your swing or movement, make one adjustment, and suddenly everything feels easier. Also, the pace of his lessons is perfect. There’s no standing around feeding balls for an hour. You’re moving, sweating, hitting, playing points, and actually getting a workout. Tom’s a great guy, super positive, and clearly knows his stuff. My game has improved massively, and I genuinely enjoy every lesson. Worth every penny.
