The first session is an assessment-based lesson. I evaluate technique, shot selection, footwork, patterns of play, and decision-making under pressure. We identify strengths, inefficiencies, and mental habits that may be limiting performance. I also assess how the player manages stress, momentum shifts, and errors. By the end of the lesson, the player has a clear performance focus and a customized training plan targeting both technical and mental aspects of their game.

Wear comfortable fitness clothing and footwear, preferably court shoes for safety, however regular sneakers are okay to start. If you have a racquet that is great. If not, I will provide one.

Please wear sneakers (tennis shoes preferred), water and comfortable athletic clothing.

I use a variety of fun drills and modified games to teach kids pickleball. I like to keep lessons fun with lots of positive reinforcement. I can do individual lessons, but teaching doubles pickleball works better with 3 or 4 players (I can act as a 4th).
