I'm an IPTPA certified pickleball instructor with a passion for introducing new players to the game and helping beginners improve their performance. I can help you learn pickleball rules, proper positioning, strokes and strategies so that you can have a blast playing! If you are new to the game, I highly suggest signing up with three or four people as it is easier to learn the rules playing doubles.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson will be a brief overview of pickleball rules, positioning and basic strokes. If you are new to the game, I highly suggest signing up with three or four people as it is easier to learn the rules playing doubles.
Lesson 2-3Additional lessons will include a variety of drills tailored to the individual to improve the students performance.
Youth players
Working with kidsI use a variety of fun drills and modified games to teach kids pickleball. I like to keep lessons fun with lots of positive reinforcement. I can do individual lessons, but teaching doubles pickleball works better with 3 or 4 players (I can act as a 4th).
Working with teenagersWorking with teenagers I adapt my lesson plan for the individual player. I also focus more on game play and strategy.
What you need to bringPlease wear sneakers (tennis shoes preferred), water and comfortable athletic clothing.
What I can bringI provide balls, paddles and coaching aids (cones etc).

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.

After four years, our pickleball group decided to seek help to improve our game. We hired Rob to help improve our play strategy, strengthen our serve, negotiate an overhead shot, and dink effectively. Rob set up drills, guided us through coached play, and took time to answer our "what if" questions. Our group felt the time with Rob was well worth it.
