He transcribes any song genre but made sure my son learned the jazz standards. All these notes and transcriptions were given to my son each class, as well as a CD recording gift at the end of each year. He is a great teacher and conductor and knows how to teach beginners to advanced, as my son progressed with him. A true jazz artist, and a natural teacher and mentor.
