At the age of 17, Greg was already working at a local course doing maintenance, carts, helping in the golf shop and learning the golf business. Working in the pro shop gave Greg the opportunity to interact with members and develop relationships that continue to this day. There is where Greg fell in love with the game and his passion has only grown stronger through his career. Desiring to become golf professional, Greg enrolled in the Golf Academy of the Carolinas.
