At the age of 17, Greg was already working at a local course doing maintenance, carts, helping in the golf shop and learning the golf business. Working in the pro shop gave Greg the opportunity to interact with members and develop relationships that continue to this day. There is where Greg fell in love with the game and his passion has only grown stronger through his career. Desiring to become golf professional, Greg enrolled in the Golf Academy of the Carolinas. While there Greg developed a particular focus on methods of teaching and the three phases of learning. He came to understand that everyone was unique and learned the game in different ways. With this new-found awareness, Greg knew he wanted to make Golf and coaching part of his career. Once graduated from the Golf Academy, Gregβs journey took him to Callaway Gardens.
