Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAs a beginner, we’ll first go over the basics such as stance, grip, and posture to ensure that we set a good foundation for our lesson. I’d also like to set expectations early about what improvement looks like, what level we want to reach, and how often you can practice on your own.
Lesson 11+Along with the fundamentals that we learned, we will add in elements of speed and power. We will work to add distance through proper contact and speed generating at impact. This will be coupled with accuracy training to make sure you can get closer to your target with consistency.
Lesson 4-10While reinforcing the fundamentals, we will gain recurring consistency with impact and distance. You will learn what separates your best strikes from the average shot. Slowly, you will build a foundational understanding and feel for where your errors lie and what the fixes are.
Lesson 2-3We will continue with fundamental training correcting any errors along the way. The plan is to get you comfortable at baseline and with the first basic steps of the golf swing. Our goal is still to understand correct set-up position, grip, and posture while attempting to get the ball in the air and away from us.
What you need to bringPlease bring your golf clubs, glove, and tees. Water, sunscreen, or a jacket is recommended depending on the temperature. Please reach out with any concerns or accommodations you might have :)
