Having worked in all aspects of the golf industry, Chuck's passion is for teaching and mentoring. He is a three-time U.S. Kids Top 50 Teacher and U.S. Kids Master Teacher. He is also a Callaway Certified Master Club Fitter. He received the Georgia Section Junior Golf Leader Award in 2001 and 2013, the 2013 PGA Junior League Captain of the Year, the 2011 and 2013 PGA Junior League National Champions, and the 2015 & 2016 FCG Top 25 Elite Junior Coach. A North Carolina native, Chuck now lives in the north Atlanta area with his wife, Michelle. They have two grown sons, Leland and Hogan, and a wayward beagle named Arnie. A Certified TPI and Aimpoint Express Instructor, Chuck focuses on Player Development programs for all ages and skill levels.

As your teacher, I will improve your golf game—by starting from the hole backwards. And while I can address specific issues or questions you may have, over a lifetime of playing golf I know that improving putting, chipping, pitching and wedge play—what happens within 100 yards of the hole—is the key to playing better golf. I will also help you with balance and flexibility exercises that will enable you to play better—and longer—as you age.

I’m a scratch golfer who played at South Dakota State University, and I’ve taken over 75 lessons from an excellent instructor while observing him teach more than 100 others. My deep understanding of the game, combined with my patience and encouragement, makes me confident in my ability to help others improve their golf skills.
