My journey in golf began at age five, competing in tournaments by age nine. I proudly represented Davis Senior High School's Varsity golf team for all four years. Although I didn't make the cut for the University of Oregon's D1 golf team, my passion for the sport remained undiminished. During high school, I shared my love for golf by coaching kids at the Golf and Splash summer camp in Davis. Now, I'm committed to regular practice, striving to lower my index back to scratch.

Ricardo Terlaje, national team player, has proudly represented his country in numerous high-level amateur events. I use one the #1 swing training aids (pro sender) created Sean foley (past coach of Tiger Woods) and David Woods. { I have a simplified 3 part swing training to make any golfer better at the game. After proper stance and positioning I have simplified the entire swing to 3 easy steps} With a specialization in the short game, Ricardo's skills on the golf course have garnered admiration and respect from his peers. I began playing golf after working at a summer camp in the late 90’s. I signed up to coach basketball, but the Bulls were in the Finals again, so by the time I got to camp, the only sport left to coach was golf, and I had zero playing or coaching experience in that sport. I had been an athlete all my life and a coach for almost a decade by that point, so I figured, “How hard can it be?” I found out quickly it was very hard, but also challenging in a way that kept me completely compelled to learn. I spent that summer learning the game from 10 year olds. We would drive over to the local course in rural Pennsylvania nearest the camp in the late afternoon, the sun getting low as we’re out there laughing and having a blast, usually at my expense. I vividly remember my mind being blown at the concept of hitting down, to make the ball go up. Fascinating! I got hooked, came home after camp, jumped into any and everything golf; Tiger Woods, Dave Pelz, Rick Smith, David Ledbetter, Golf Channel, etc., etc. I got pretty good quickly, played all over the place, signed up to attend a golf instructor school in 2002 and the rest is history. I’ve given thousands of lessons coast to coast, including Maui, Scottsdale, NYC, San Diego and even Tijuana. I have a deep knowledge of the game and swing mechanics, combined with a sincere passion to help anyone of any ability learn the game I have come to love so much. I've been golfing since the age of 12. I’ve faced many challenges in this sport and grown to overcome them. Following my college years, I worked at Maderas Golf while pursuing my studies in hygiene school. My passion for the game grew as I played at the Maderas and I’ve been fortunate to frequently practice using a full swing simulator. My goal is to continue to improve throughout my life. I look forward to meeting great people ready to learn and helping to improve their own game.

Originally from Sweden, Henrik’s passion for golf started at age 11, growing up surrounded by a culture of excellence and friendly competition. He played professionally on the European Challenge Tour, Asian Tour, South American Tour, and Swedish Golf Tour before transitioning to coaching in 1990. Henrik has spent the past 30 years coaching national teams from Sweden, Norway, and Belgium, as well as players in numerous European and World Championships. He now teaches at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course in San Diego, where his fluency in Swedish, English, and French allows him to coach globally. Henrik also shares his expertise in biomechanics and technique as an international lecturer.

Im a current lead golf instructor at Studio Golf in Pacific Beach. I’ve had the pleasure of working under numerous top 100 coaches in the country such as Devan Bonebrake, David Leadbetter, and Jeff Smith. Through this experience I’ve gain to tools to find the root cause of a players issues and how to appropriately address them. I also pride myself on creating the environment to be non threatening, personable, and FUN!
