My approach focuses on simplifying the game as much as possible so that each swing, routine, and decision becomes repeatable under real on-course conditions. Golf doesn't have to be complicated to be effective—I aim to give students tools they can rely on, even when pressure builds. Ultimately, my goal is to help players build strong fundamentals, develop confidence, and enjoy the process of improvement. I work with students from beginners, intermediate or advanced. I also work with kids who want to give golf a try. Lesson Format: Each session is customized based on the student’s experience, goals, and learning style, with a consistent format that ensures structure and growth: 1. Initial Assessment & Goal Setting (First Lesson.) -Discuss student goals (e.g., break 100, improve short game, gain distance.) -Evaluate current swing, posture, grip, and stance. -Provide initial feedback and outline a personalized lesson plan 2. Warm-Up & Fundamentals Review (Each Lesson) -5–10 minutes of dynamic stretching and swing warm-up. -Brief review of previous lesson’s key takeaways 3. Drills & Skill Development -Use targeted drills to build consistency and technique (e.g., alignment sticks, impact bags, foot spray, and tees for feedback) -Focus on one major skill per session (e.g., ball striking, putting, bunker play). -Adjust drills in real-time based on performance and progress 4. Video Analysis (When Applicable) -Use mobile video tools for visual feedback. -Compare student’s swing to previous footage or pro examples 5. On-Course Situational Coaching (Available for Intermediate/Advanced) -Teach course management, club selection, and mental game strategies. -Practice real scenarios like uphill lies, tight fairways, or green reading 6. Recap & Homework -Recap top 2–3 focus points from the session -Provide practice drills or training plan to reinforce lessons between sessions -Offer encouragement and realistic next steps I also provide on-course lessons. . $75 for lessons + $50 for any additional hour, and I also kindly request to cover my green fees. For on course lessons, we will go over tee box strategy, pre shot routines, troubled lies, green reading and course management.

Originally from Sweden, Henrik’s passion for golf started at age 11, growing up surrounded by a culture of excellence and friendly competition. He played professionally on the European Challenge Tour, Asian Tour, South American Tour, and Swedish Golf Tour before transitioning to coaching in 1990. Henrik has spent the past 30 years coaching national teams from Sweden, Norway, and Belgium, as well as players in numerous European and World Championships. He now teaches at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course in San Diego, where his fluency in Swedish, English, and French allows him to coach globally. Henrik also shares his expertise in biomechanics and technique as an international lecturer.

Bob has been a dedicated golf instructor at the AGA under Kip's guidance since 1995. A UCSD graduate and All-American for the UCSD Golf Team, Bob's expertise spans over decades of playing and teaching at the highest levels. He currently coaches notable players such as 2011 Women's U.S. Open Champion So Yeon Ryu, the 2012 Korean National Team, PGA Tour and Ryder Cup player Chris Riley, and NCAA champions like Ani Gulugian of UCLA. Bob's coaching portfolio extends to collegiate players from Northwestern, UOP, LMU, William & Mary, and Cal, reflecting his ability to nurture talent across all levels. As a master instructor, he specializes in the full swing, short game, and mental aspects of golf. As a player, Bob competed on the Golden State and Canadian Tours, played in the PGA Buick Invitational, and won city championships in Coronado and Costa Mesa. He remains an active competitor, representing the San Diego Chapter of the PGA as a member of the 2011 Century Club Team.
