Hi, I’m Coach Cham! I’m passionate about helping players of all ages and skill levels develop their game, build confidence, and enjoy basketball. "Cham, You've always been Someone who was willing to expand our portfolios when it Came to basketball, but You were also a fun interactive person to have as a coach. You see and believe in us on and off the court and as growing individuals. Thank you so much!!

I'm a Coppin State Hall of Famer, a 2x MEAC Player of the Year, and a 2x MEAC champion, and my jersey hangs in the rafters. After that I played professionally, then spent 12 years coaching Division 1 women's basketball. I loved every minute. But D1 coaching owned my calendar, and I wanted to spend more time with my family and be present and active in my daughter’s life. So I made the move: more time with my family, full control of my schedule, and a business built on my own terms. That's how Grassroots Sports & Fitness was born. The impact is the same, it just looks different now. I get to work with athletes at the grassroots level, where the foundation is built and where the right coach can have a lasting positive impact on a young person's life. If you're looking for a coach who builds real chemistry and a personal connection with every athlete, I'm your coach. Let's get to work!

For over 18 years, I've fostered a love of basketball in players of all levels. I specialize in skill development, strategic thinking, and building confident athletes on and off the court. My goal is to make you fall in love with the game, all over again!

"My son had his first session with Coach Armond today. We were really impressed. He pushed my son hard, but kept him excited and engaged. Easily the best private coach he has had. He could easily read that my son wanted to be pushed and did exactly that. Coach will 100% help maximize his potential, while keeping the fire lit…
