I am a certified TESOL instructor with a Bachelors degree in English as a Second Language. I also minored in Film and Japanese. I primarily work with adult English Language Learners developing the skills necessary to thrive in their respective workplaces, but am comfortable working with younger students as well. CEFR levels A1 - C2 welcome. We'll spend our first session identifying your goals and creating a plan to achieve them. I look forward to working with you!

My career in education began when I graduated from St. Martin’s University with a bachelor’s degree in special and elementary education. I have 5 years of teaching experience. I am familiar with teaching the foundations of reading—phonemic awareness, phonics, and orthographic mapping—as students discover the magic of literacy as beginning readers. I am also comfortable providing instruction toward more advanced readers who require vocabulary building and fluency focused instruction.
