Derrick is a great golf teacher and all around good human. I was a college athlete who needed a challenge now that I was over 50. I had played golf a few times over the years, but never seriously. I took lessons with Derrick and fell in love with this crazy game of golf. I’m in my second season of consistently playing and see Derrick a few times each year for tune-ups. He always knows how to explain what I need to do to fix my swing or stance. I HIGHLY recommend Derrick if you want to learn golf or just tune-up your skills.

Derrick is great. Very knowledgeable and helps you apply the golf swing in a manner your can relate to based on your sports history. Even if you haven't played any sports and golf is your first one, he'll work hard to find the little things that just click for you. This is my second year and the improvement in my handicap is definitely trending downward. I'd highly recommend you give him a shot.

I have to say Derrick’s way of teaching the game is awesome. While at Sundance golf course I had the pleasure of taking multiple lessons with Derrick. His style is laid back and his lessons are fun, best of all, they work! I started with a 22 handicap and by the end of the year I was at a 12 handicap. Highly recommend if you want to lower your handicap and have fun doing it!

Highly recommend DC Golf for any lessons. The biggest difference between him and other instructors is he makes minor tweaks to your swing that have an instant impact vs other instructors who make huge swing changes that could take months or years to see the same result.

Your first lessonEstablish a natural swing motion through our tire swing method. Find the natural body movements in your swing. We will focus on using your body to create the correct movements.
Lesson 11+Focus on highlighted trouble areas. Start working with on course and mental aspects of play.
Lesson 4-10Start working on putting and short game. Driver setup and swing.
