With over 50 years of performing and teaching experience, Dennis Frati brings a lifetime of musicianship to every lesson. A seasoned double bassist and bass guitarist, Dennis has worked across orchestral, jazz, chamber, studio, and live performance settings. His career has been built not only on playing, but on helping students develop strong technique, confident musicality, and a genuine love for their instrument. His teaching style combines traditional fundamentals with real-world musicianship — so students don’t just practice… they learn how to play music. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or refining advanced skills, Dennis meets you where you are and helps you grow with clarity and confidence.
"Dennis is awesome, he has my grandson’ interest at heart… he’s easy to talk and explain needs an is very accommodating I’m glad I found him

I am a highly enthusiastic pickleball player with 2 years of experience in open/private play ranging from 4.0-4.5 level. Very engaging in technical instruction, ranging from foundational "Intro to Pickleball" clinics to intermediate tactical workshops for up to 4.0+ players. I just love pickleball and all the things that come with it. I have organized lots of drills and open plays within my pickleball group too.
"I was completely new to pickleball and took lessons with Anish and he has helped me not only understand the game but also gotten me to a level when I can play open plays without felling out of place at the 3.0-3.5 level. He has helped a lot with my footwork, drops and returns. I would highly recommend him if you are wanting to get to the 4.0 level.
