Teaching Tennis allows me to make a positive impact on the lives of others. "I'm glad to say my recent lesson with Cecil helped me improve my forehand consistency, especially on those wide balls, even though staying low still feels a bit tricky. Though I feel more confident overall, I think I need to focus on faster recovery after hits. Still, it's encouraging to see progress in court coverage and footwork, so I might try to keep building on these areas. If you're looking to sharpen your baseline game, Cecil's approach might be worth trying.

"Coach David has the ability to see what is working and what isnβt working during the lesson and adjust the drills accordingly. Always clear feedback and encouraging.

With a lifelong passion for racquet and paddle sports, I've dedicated six years to playing, competing, and teaching pickleball. My journey in racquet sports began with junior and collegiate tennis, and later, I transitioned to racquetball, achieving remarkable success with 14 national titles in singles and doubles, a world doubles title as part of Team USA, and a world ranking of #3 on the pro tour. Pickleball has been a natural extension of my racquet sports expertise, and in every tournament I've entered, I've emerged victorious or landed in the top three. My love for these games drives me to teach and share my knowledge, making me a dedicated and accomplished pickleball player and instructor. Please note: I am available other days and times not shown in my availability. If you have a special scheduling request, please contact me through app support with 2-3 time/day options to have best chance 1 will work for me too. Thank you.

Michelle Brite is a classical pianist with a Bachelors of Music in Music Composition from the University of North Texas. She has stand out knowledge in Music Theory, Aural Skills, Composition, and Accompaniment. She is a versatile music professional dedicated to creating meaningful growth through music. Michelle's piano journey started at 4 years old and was competitively playing at a young age. Once in middle school, she started playing percussion in band as well. Around this time, Michelle found her love for music composition and started working on personal composition projects in addition to her piano lessons. Through ages 14-16, many solo piano pieces came to fruition, which were compiled and produced as a CD released at age 17. By this time, Michelle knew that she wanted to go to school for music! Michelle was accepted to the College of Music at the University of North Texas (UNT) with a concentration in piano and a major of music composition in 2012. During her time at UNT she had the opportunity to work with highly skilled pianists to further develop her craft. She has large amounts of experience in practicing methods and what it means to have a successful working session. Michelle's course work allowed her to extensively study music theory, aural skills, composition, orchestration, and instrumentation. She has a deep love for music theory and understanding music from a fundamental level. As a musician with real-world experience, Michelle has had the pleasure of participating in a variety of ensembles, rehearsing in different settings, and working with many different people. This includes, but is not limited to, women's choir, piano accompaniment, composition rehearsals, and contemporary and rock band ensembles. Michelle's musical background makes her a great option for all types of students, from kids learning music for the first time to students preparing for college auditions and adults wanting to learn a new skill. She knows how important it is to have a personalized learning plan and puts together unique resources for each lesson. Depending on the overall goal, Michelle can teach piano, music theory, songwriting, accompaniment, and more. Michelle Brite's other areas of expertise include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and work experience in marketing/PR and software. She has had valuable growth in these fields but is now focusing full-time on music! Michelle is thrilled to be taking on more piano students and performing more as a musician in the Austin area.
