I’m Wayne Mendezona, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Corban University and founder of Quick Handle Basketball. I’ve spent over 30+ years developing athletes and have trained more than 50,000 players—from youth to college and professional levels. I specialize in ball handling, scoring, and game performance—helping athletes build confidence, decision-making, and real in-game results. My training is not just drills—it’s about developing complete players who can perform under pressure, think the game, and separate themselves from the competition. I don’t train average. I train athletes who are serious about growth, discipline, and competing at a higher level. If that’s you, let’s get to work.
"My training session with Coach Mendo (Wayne) was excellent. The session was well organized-- he was able to quickly assess my current abilities and areas for growth, and then ran me through a number skill building excercises. By the end of the first session I could tell that my dribbling skills were much improved and he gave me specific advice on how to improve my shot. His coaching style is positive and direct and I look forward to our future training sessions.
