Coach Joël Slagtand - Basketball Coach & Mentor I’ve been passionate about the game of basketball since 1995, when I first fell in love with the sport. That passion has grown into a lifelong commitment—not only to the game itself but to the powerful lessons it teaches on and off the court. With years of experience coaching in the Miami, Florida recreational league within the Jewish community, I’ve dedicated myself to developing players holistically. My coaching philosophy centers around mental performance, creating a championship mindset, and fostering personal growth. I believe in building strong character, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, and using basketball as a tool for life-long wellness and leadership. With over five decades of golfing experienceI, I played competitive golf ⛳️ USGA JUNIOR Golf High School and College Levels. I hope inspire a love of the game while helping golfers reach their potential. My easy-going no nonsense approach to golf has helped several people not only enjoy the game more, but have a greater love for it . Golf is a lot more fun when you score well!
