Fabiana started playing tennis at the age of six and competing in sanctioned tournaments since eight years old. At seventeen she was offered to play Division I tennis in the U.S.A. and was inducted in the University of Toledo Varsity Hall of Fame. Also, as a Clinician for the USTA she trains Physical Education teachers and community leaders how to teach and introduce tennis in schools or other settings.
