Hello. My name is Matthew. I started playing guitar at age 13. I play many different styles of music as well as different styles of guitar. I enjoy playing melodic soft acoustic and also heavy distorted electric guitar. I like to teach in a fun upbeat way that helps to engage the students in learning the fundamentals and to begin creating music as soon as possible. There are many things to learn and understand in the journey of guitar playing and it's my goal to break down these concepts in the easiest way to help encourage students to stay engaged with this amazing instrument. I was born and raised in Jamaican. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 6 years old. I’ve played all the way up until college. Now that my body won’t allow me to play anymore, my goal is to develop future talent to become a better player than I was.
