My love for Pickleball began in 2011, during a time when lessons were scarce. Upon moving to the west side of Michigan, I found coaches who helped me correct numerous bad habits. After extensive lessons and attending many camps, I began sharing my knowledge with others. I started formally giving lessons in 2017 and became a PPR certified coach in 2019.
"Clear explanation and demonstration of technique and strategy. Easy personality.

With a lifelong passion for racket sports, particularly tennis and ping pong, my journey took an exciting turn when I discovered pickleball five years ago. Captivated by the game's fast-paced action and strategic depth, I quickly immersed myself, drawing on my extensive racket sports background. Recognizing my talent, the founder of Revolin Sports invited me to play a tournament with him. Leveraging my experience in tennis teaching, I seamlessly transitioned into coaching pickleball, catering to a growing community of players making the switch. For the past two years, I've shared my expertise part-time at MVP, coaching both tennis and pickleball enthusiasts. Whether on the court or the gym, my goal is simple: to inspire and empower players of all levels to excel in their chosen racket sport, one swing at a time. "After taking some lessons with Mark, I’m better ready to think about what I should do next instead of just swing. If you can get in to a drill or group lesson with Mark, you’ll learn even more. Whether you’re a tennis player looking to diversify or a pball player looking to improve, Mark’s lessons meet you where you are and are a good value. -Alice Daood

With a racket in hand since age 8, I've journeyed through the world of ping pong, tennis, and pickleball with a passion for competition and coaching. From multiple ping pong tournament victories to competing at the Michigan Division 1 High School Varsity level in tennis, my dedication to racket sports runs deep. Although an injury prevented me from playing college tennis, my service in the Air Force provided a new platform for coaching, where I had the honor of sharing my tennis expertise with fellow service members. As a part-time tennis coach at MVP, I continue to inspire and mentor players of all levels, drawing from my diverse background and love for the game.
"My son benefited much from the tennis lessons on all fronts. Lessons were flexible and effective in terms of overall work, specific work and requests, and flexible times for the lessons. Made a big difference as a freshman performing 1st doubles on JV!! High recommendation! Thank you!
