Jonathan played Division I football at the University of Arizona and the University of Alabama at Birmingham on full scholarship, where he gained deep insight into the physical, mental, and technical demands required to compete at the next level. Following his playing career, Jonathan transitioned into coaching, serving in roles at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Boston College, and the University of Maryland. His experience includes working with running backs and defensive backs, assisting in film breakdown, scouting reports, practice planning, player evaluations, and game-week preparation. He has also served as an offensive assistant and coordinator, giving him a comprehensive understanding of offensive systems, protections, and positional responsibilities. As a football trainer, Jonathan specializes in position-specific skill development, speed and movement mechanics, football IQ training, and preparing athletes for the transition to higher levels of competition.
