When given group lessons, I prefer to keep it at 4, but will go as high as 8. I individualize every lesson for every student based on what they express they want to learn.

"This was the second lesson for my husband and myself with Randy this week. We are visiting from abroad and Randy was great for “drop in” coaching. He also managed very well coaching two different skill levels. I am a brand new beginner and my husband more skilled. We had a blast and will hopefully take lessons on our next trip to Florida !!

For over a decade, I've been sharing my passion for pickleball with others, helping them develop their skills, while discovering the joy of this dynamic sport. My coaching philosophy is built on a foundation of fun, personal encouragement, NO pressure, motivation without fear to make mistakes, repetitions as many times needed, and a commitment to seeing each player reach their full potential, one step at the time. My classes can be in English or Spanish, using the same pickleball terms in English so anyone can play with my students regardless of languaje.

"I’d say the lesson with Carlos was quite good, especially because he’s really skilled and helped me understand some key aspects I hadn’t picked up before. The lesson was quite helpful in pointing out subtle adjustments I could make, though I still feel a bit uncertain about some technical details. Still, I’m hoping to build on what I learned and improve further. If you’re looking for a coach who’s knowledgeable and patient, it’s worth trying out Carlos for sure.
