I grew up in Cuba, where the ocean was practically my backyard. Spending so much time in the water gave me a lifelong love for swimming and taught me to respect it from an early age. Today, I enjoy sharing that passion by helping students of all ages become confident and safe swimmers. I’m patient, encouraging, and adapt each lesson to every student’s needs and goals. After I played at the University of Charleston in WV, I decided to take volleyball serious and had one goal; Share my passion and love for the sport and make other people feel the same way. I believe working hard and maintaining GRIT will help you succeed whether it’s playing volleyball or everyday tasks. I bring a lot of energy on the court, and encourage others to do so as well.
