His clear directions (before going into the water), feedback after attempting some waves, and his assistance with identifying the waves and with adjusting my board were a huuuge help to achieving my goal of standing in the board and riding a wave! I’d say go in with an open mind and try catch an emptier time (my lesson was in the morning on a weekday when it was crowded). Was a perfect activity to end my time in San Diego :)
