Hello, I began playing soccer at age eight with an AYSO team called the Bears, where I learned the fundamentals of the game—passing, dribbling, shooting, and basic rules. My passion for soccer grew quickly, and after four years in AYSO, I earned a spot on my first competitive team. Though I was the last player selected, my hard work and determination helped me earn a starting position as a left back, eventually moving to center back as my skills improved. In high school, I played on both the JV and Varsity soccer teams, and during my senior year, we won our league and the Central Coast Sectional Championship. Also in my senior year I was invited to be the assistant coach for a U-10 competitive soccer team—an experience that sparked my love for coaching. Since then, I’ve coached and assisted with several recreation and competitive teams. Both of my sons also played competitive soccer with clubs including Placer United, San Juan and Granite Bay. I’m excited to share my love for the game with you. Through engaging and fun drills, we’ll work together to build your skills, boost your confidence, and elevate your level of play.
