A Little About Me I've been involved in sports throughout my life and the skills, strategy and psych(e) I've developed along the way continue to influence my approach to coaching today. I started playing pickleball in 2020 and quickly fell in love with its unique combination of movement, strategy, competition, and community. That passion led me to pursue formal training and earn my certification through the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR). I coach all ages, beginners to intermediate level players, and my philosophy is simple: create a fun, supportive environment where you can build solid fundamentals, gain confidence, and develop a lasting love for the game. Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or looking to take your game to the next level, let's go to work - and have some fun! Drilling Works! 🏓 Play With Love! 💜Go to profile

Reviews for coaches at Sgt. Kip A. Jacoby Park

My lesson with Alan was extremely helpful, especially because of his knowledge of the game and strategic approach to helping me achieve my goals. Though I still want to work more on positioning and strategy to really strengthen my game, I definitely left with a better understanding. Honestly, I appreciated the focus on practical tips that I can apply during play. Still, I feel like there’s a lot more room to grow, but I’m optimistic about building on this foundation. If you’re looking for someone who knows their pickleball and can guide you thoughtfully, Alan’s is the right instructor for you!

The lesson with Alan was quite helpful, especially in understanding how to improve my placement on the court. He spent quality time on each aspect of the game and showed meaningful improvement throughout the session, which was encouraging. I’ll definitely build on what was taught this week by practicing and fine-tuning those new techniques. Still, I hope to see more progress with time, but for now, it’s a solid step forward. Alan’s straightforward teaching style really helps to clarify key concepts in pickleball, and I’d be open to trying another lesson to continue developing my skills.

The lesson with Alan was quite helpful, especially in understanding how to improve my placement on the court. Though I still need to work on consistency, I’m optimistic that with more practice I’ll get there. The lesson really highlighted some subtle paddle control techniques that I hadn't thought much about before. Still, I think it’d be good to maybe have another session soon to build on what I learned. Alan’s teaching style is pretty straightforward but effective, and I’d be open to trying another lesson down the line.

Oh, I think this lesson really helped clarify serving and what to expect on returns, which was pretty useful. Still, I’m hoping to see more focus on building those aspects in future lessons with Alan. You know, continuing to develop the finer points of serve strategies feels like the next step. If he can keep working on that, I might stick around a bit longer. Anyway, I’d say it’s worth trying him out if you want a calm, measured approach to pickleball.

The lesson focused on strategy, footwork, and developing my serve, which I found quite helpful. Alan’s approach makes it easy to stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed, and I appreciate the focus on court positioning. Though I still need to work more on what we went over initially, I look forward to building on those skills. Still, I’d suggest trying Alan if you're interested in thoughtful, practical pickleball guidance.

The first lesson with Alan was excellent overall. He explained things in a way that really made sense and was easy to follow. Though I still need to make more progress on positioning, dinking, and strategy, I’m confident that continued work will help me improve to be a more competitive player. Still, it was a solid experience and I will definitely try more lesson with him to keep building up my game.
