In the past I’ve played tennis, table tennis, badminton, as well as a couple of other sports. I have coaching experience from tennis and bowling. But I want to teach the sport I’m most interested in, Pickleball! Excited to get on the court together. Heads up! Although I did do commercials Professor Pickleball.
I specialize in developing a solid and well thought out game. Although the process is slower early on, the better you get the easier it will be to get better! My best shots are my drops/resets and my backhand flicks. And my playstyle is a very shifty “joker” style of play.

I’d say Derrick's lesson was quite thorough and very knowledgeable, which I appreciated though I still want to keep building my skills. Still, his coaching skills really helped me feel more confident about my game. If you're looking for someone who knows their stuff but keeps things practical, definitely worth giving Derrick a try.
Derrick was excellent! He was able, knowledgeable, honest, professional, young and full of energy. He had an agenda and stuck to it. The lesson was geared to my ability. I highly recommend him as a coach.
Hi Derrick, I’m leaving for your for three weeks when I get back we will resume Pickleball. I loved our lesson. I can’t wait to resume, but I do need probably mid July to get started again.
