I’m Derrick, an 19 year old 5.0+ Pickleball player (Playing in APP/PPA pro qualifiers soon!) based out of South Florida! In the past I’ve played tennis, table tennis, badminton, as well as a couple of other sports. I have coaching experience from tennis and bowling. But I want to teach the sport I’m most interested in, Pickleball! Excited to get on the court together. Heads up! Although I did do commercials Professor Pickleball, I play for Phantom Pickleball.

Youth players
Working with kidsI used to tutor kids for academic purposes! Although they aren’t going to pick up the sport as fast, I take a more fun approach and try to relate to them and see what they want to do. The more enjoyment they get out of it, the more likely they will want to come and learn more!
Working with teenagersI used to also tutor teenagers. And I am also young myself. As long as the teenager has the ambition and drive to get better, there will be nothing easier than teaching them!
What you need to bringJust bring yourself, if you’d like the test some higher quality paddles, I have quite a few I can bring for you if needed.
What I can bringI typically will bring a basket of balls and some cones for target practice/visualization of shots. If needed I can bring extra paddles to test/play with.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
