I've been igniting a passion for basketball in young players for over 10 years, sharing my knowledge and experience to help them reach their full potential on and off the court. My name is Jared McBride. I grew up in a sport-loving family and have participated in a wide variety of sports all throughout highschool and two semesters in college, including basketball (only sport played through college), track & field, cross country, football, soccer, and baseball. Through my years in athletics, I have learned how to balance competitiveness with professionalism. I am eager to help others grow by utilizing what I have been taught and what I have learned in my 10 years of basketball experience. I intend to not only train athletes to perform to their best of their abilities, but to most importantly keep a positive outlook on progression. Something as fun as athletics should never feel like a job to those participating, which is why I believe I can stand out and professionally train those to never look back on their past and regret the way they were taught to train, which I have unfortunately seen happen to peers. My blend of a decade of hands on experience and eagerness to help others exceed their athletic goals prioritizes not only success, but a supportive physical and mental health too. I am willing and ready to make winning fun! Coaching format: When it comes to basketball, there’s not one position I can’t help. From on the court success as a point and shooting guard, I quickly had to learn the roll of a post when my college trainers wanted to further utilize my height when needed. I attend to professionally and mathematically keep track of progression, focus on any major or minor flaws, and again, keep the learning experience positive.
