Bio: I'm a dedicated pickleball enthusiast with a 4.0 player rating, and I play the game four times a week. My commitment to the sport is evident in my skill and competitive spirit. My passion for pickleball shines through every match, making me a formidable opponent on the court.
Bio: Hello, I'm Kathy! As a competitive pickleball player with a 4.46 rating, I've dedicated over three years to perfecting my game. My journey in sports education stretches over two decades, thanks to my background as a PE teacher. This unique blend of teaching and passion makes me the coach I am today.
In our sessions together, I'll guide you through refining your swings, honing your hitting drills, getting that grip just right, and we'll even dink a little back and forth. To wrap things up, we'll dive into some quick drill games to make sure you leave the court feeling more confident than ever. I'm here to ensure you not only grasp the techniques but truly embrace the spirit of pickleball!
Bio: Hi, I’m Rian Weston-Dodds, I’ve been playing for over 5 years now coaching for about 2. I’ve had a career high DUPR rating of over 5.0 and have coached at various locations including Picklemall, Life Time, the Picklr, and now soon Dink and Dine. I'm PPR certified, with 70 matches logged in DUPR from leagues and tournaments.
I specialize in helping beginners players get a handle on the game, and also the intermediate players with strategy and technical aspects.
I look forward to working with you on the court!
At the moment, the Mountainside Fitness on Frank Lloyd Wright is the easiest way to get a an indoor court during the summer, free for members and only $10 for non members. It is on a basketball court but it works fine for practice.
Otherwise, The Orchard Indoor Pickleball Private Event Venue by Talking Stick resort is also a good option for a rentable, authentic indoor court. But it does cost $30 for an hour.
If you have your own private court let me know, otherwise many public courts get busy in the early mornings and afternoons but often times Ashler Hills usually has an open court.
Bio: As a former college athlete and a seasoned pickleball coach, I bring a unique blend of experience and passion to the sport. Currently holding a 4.0 rating, I embarked on my pickleball journey in the vibrant courts of Arizona. Now, I'm in the process of obtaining my PPR certification to further my proficiency.
In addition to my coaching skills, I am also a dedicated physical therapist, focusing on boosting athletic performance. This unique background allows me to effectively coach pickleball enthusiasts of all levels. With my comprehensive understanding of sport dynamics and physical fitness, I am dedicated to helping each player reach their maximum potential!
