Ryan was just what we needed. We took a series of three lessons from him over the course of four days. He met us where we were at skill wise and helped us improve from there. He is really patient, skilled and has a fun sense of humor. He was also very generous with his time and giving us many tips. We would recommend Rian for your next pickleball lesson!

Rian is one of the best local players I’ve seen and has developed a game and playing style independently of other racquet sports experience, making him a great resource for learning pickleball in its most direct, efficient style of play, where the game is played and won at the kitchen, while removing most offensive opportunities from one’s opponents.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst I will ask you about your strengths and weaknesses and if there’s something in particular that you want to work on.
And then normally I start almost every lesson with a few points of skinny singles to identify any strengths and weaknesses and what we should work on.
From there I will give you a few tips and then run some drills to work on them. Throughout the lesson I will continue to give you tips as I identify ideas to help with your game, and we may adjust the drills but still mainly focusing on one particular skill.
