Dale is, without question, one of the most exceptional tennis coaches I’ve ever worked with. After playing tennis for over 50 years, I didn’t think I had any “new tricks” left to learn—but Dale proved me wrong in the best possible way. What sets Dale apart is his creativity, patience, and relentless commitment to his players. Change does not come easily to me, especially when it comes to a game I’ve played for decades. But Dale never gave up. He approached my traditional forehand from multiple angles, trying different techniques and explanations until he found the one that truly clicked with my learning style. The result? A modernized forehand that has made a significant difference in my game—and very likely improved my overall USTA rating. Beyond his technical expertise, Dale makes tennis genuinely fun. He meets you exactly where you are, without judgment, and builds from there. His energy is motivating, his teaching style is adaptable, and his encouragement keeps you pushing forward. Dale is also a continuous learner himself, always bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the court. He leads by example, models excellence, and inspires those around him to grow. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Dale works very hard on his tennis, spending anytime time necessary to improve his skills and others. He is an inspiration to many that have been on the court with him. Dale is absolutely reliable. I had to take basically a full year off from September of 2023 to September of 2024 because of shoulder back and hop operations. Dale was instrumental in my comeback, showing great patience and willingness to hit with me even when I was not able to keep up with him or move at my best. Dale has always been generous with his time and helpful advice
