Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will start with dynamic stretching to prevent injuries, I will then observe you rallying to observe your groundstrokes. Next, we will do a series of drills that help you improve your ground stroke technique and consistency. We will then use what we learned in a game situation. Finally, we’ll end the lesson with a fun cool down activity.
Lesson 2-3The same structure as the first lesson, but this time we’ll focus on the opposite ground stroke.
Lesson 4-10Same structure as the initial lesson, but we’ll focus on a range of techniques, including serves, returns, and volleys
What you need to bringSneakers, a tennis racquet (let me know if you don’t own one), and water
What I can bringI will bring balls and can also bring racquets for beginners who don’t yet own a racquets
