What are opportunities?

Opportunities are students who are looking for a coach. Some are new students. Others already take lessons and asked to switch to you.
Find Your Opportunities
- Open the Coach App
- Tap the To do tab
- Scroll to Opportunities, or tap it to see the full list
New opportunities arrive throughout the day. Each one shows its status: Introduce yourself, In the running, Waiting on you, or You won.
Introduce Yourself or Pass
Open an opportunity to see the student's request.
- Tap Introduce yourself, write your message, and tap Send intro. The student picks from the coaches who reached out.
- Offer lesson times with your intro. A student can book one of your times straight away, and we recommend one coach to the student based on distance, price, reliability, and how fast you replied.
- If the student named a budget, the button shows the price, such as Accept $60/lesson.
- Tap Pass on and the student's name if the student is not a good fit. Passing never affects your standing or your ranking.
When a Student Asks to Switch to You
A student who wants to switch coaches can ask for you. The request says This student requested to be switched to you. Can you take them?
- Tap Accept new student
- After the student confirms, schedule your first lesson from your chat
If no first lesson time is set, your chat with the student shows a Schedule your first lesson card. Tap it to pick a time.
