Raised and trained in Madison, WI in a traditional Midwestern system that emphasized discipline, fundamentals, ball-control, and teams-first mentality. Between 1996-2007, played high-level club and school volleyball earning honors as a National Champion, MVP, All-State, All-City, All-Conference, and played Division I at Manhattan College.

She packed each session with multiple practices – passing, setting, serving, leg work etc, but it wasn’t overwhelming, it was structured just right.
