Hello, my name is Armaan Walia and I have been playing competitive tennis for 12+ years. I coach with the top tennis pros at country clubs which has helped me develop my coaching skills. I play collegiate tennis at St. Lawrence University and play two singles there ending my season with a 8-3 record. During my lessons I focus on developing the player and building habits that will last for a lifetime.

I coached kids of all skill levels, but my style of coaching mainly benefits kids who are looking to hit a lot of balls and play points/sets. Obviously I tailor my coaching to all skill levels, but those looking for more intense hitting will benefit more.

I am a passionate tennis player and instructor. I have been coaching tennis for over 20 years. I used to be the girl tennis director at Brookwood Camp in Glen Spey NY. I played in the USTA league for over 10 years. I also coach high school tennis for some years. Currently, I am a member of the Morristown field club. I play tennis and paddle throughout the year.

I am a recent Georgetown University graduate and former Division I lacrosse player with a lifelong passion for sports. I have played tennis for most of my life and love competing, teaching, and helping others improve their game. I have several years of experience coaching young athletes and enjoy working with players of all skill levels. Laurentsi was born in Minsk, Belarus, and began playing tennis at the age of six. By age 12, he was competing in national and international tournaments, eventually becoming a Top 10 junior player in Belarus in both the 16U and 18U divisions. His success earned him full sponsorship through Belarus’ national tennis development program, where he had the opportunity to train alongside elite players and coaches, including Ilya Ivashka (ATP Top 50), Egor Gerasimov (ATP Top 100), Anton Dubrov (Aryna Sabalenka’s coach), and Egor Yatsyk (coach of Aslan Karatsev). At 17, Laurentsi competed in Belarus’ national selection tournament for the Davis Cup team, finishing sixth and earning a position as an additional player on the team. In 2011, Laurentsi received a full tennis scholarship to Bethany College in Kansas, where he competed in the NAIA. During both his freshman and sophomore seasons, he won his regional tournament and advanced to the semifinals of the national tournament, where he fell to the eventual champion. After earning his Bachelor of Science, Laurentsi transitioned into coaching full-time. He spent three years coaching privately before joining John McEnroe Tennis Academy in Westchester, New York where he continued to develop as a coach over the next three years. He later joined New Rochelle Racquet Club as a Head Pro further expanding his experience managing other pros and organizing programs for players of varying ages and competitive levels. Prior joining Franklin Lakes Tennis Academy Laurentsi spent two years focused primarily on developing teenage players, helping them improve their games and advance within their high school varsity and collegiate programs.
