Passionate tennis player with a decade+ of experience. I've excelled at various levels, from high school varsity to college club teams (Ohio State University and Ohio University tennis club alumnus). Previously, I was a full-time tennis professional and Director of Tennis and Pickleball @ Wedgewood Golf and Country Club in Columbus, OH training players of all ages. I have also been the Assistant Tennis Coach of the Girl’s Varsity Team for Westerville South High School (Westerville, OH) for the past two years. During the past winter I was a part-time tennis professional @ Wickertree Tennis Club in Columbus, OH and coached the 3.5 Career Ladies’ USTA Team. Additionally, I have a strong background playing USTA Tournaments (20-6 all time in USTA doubles according to ITF World Tennis Number) 2026 USTA League Midwest Ohio Valley District Champion 18+ 2026 USTA League Midwest Ohio Valley State Qualifier 18+ I have a Bachelors degree in Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, a Masters degree in Biomedical Science, 2 years of medical school, a Certification in the Practice of Data Analytics, and I am currently studying for my next Masters in Bioinformatics at Northeastern University. Chen Chen was hired as the head women's tennis coach at Salem State in 2022. Chen has been the head mens' tennis coach since 2020 after playing for the Vikings for four seasons. A two-time captain of the Salem State men's tennis team. He earned first and second team All-Little East Conference honors three separate times during his career. Chen captained Salem State to just their second Little East Conference Tournament Championship and fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in 2018. His 29 doubles wins currently rank second all-time in program history. A Dean's List member, he was a three-time All-Little East All-Academic selection and three-time National Scholar Athlete Day Award winner. Chen also became the first former player and head coach to win the LEC conference in 2023. Currently live in North Andover, MA.

I started playing tennis in Haiti at the age of two. As a junior player, I participated in and won numerous tournaments. During my four years at Brockton High School, I was frequently featured in the Brockton Enterprise newspaper for my achievements. I continued my tennis career at Salem State University, winning two championships and participating in the NCAA tournaments twice. My accolades include being a 4-time First Team All-Conference honoree, and I am currently among the top 10 players with the most games won in Salem State history. I have been coaching for three years, working with players of all levels.

Andie has over 15 years of coaching and playing experience. Born in Kingston, Jamaica and migrated to New England in 2011 and began coaching professionally; while also working in Banking and Finance as a Mortgage Loan Officer. She is RSPA/USPTA CERTIFIED NewTennis Player and USTA SafeSport Certified Coach. Wheelchair Accessible Coach. Her tennis game is inspired by the likes of Monica Seles, Venus Williams and Pete Sampras to name a few. She focuses on fun drills with structured sessions to enable personal growth and expanding the reach of the game. Her knowledge comes from decades of playing and teaching alongside all levels of players. She is passionate about sharing the game with everyone!

I am Lucca Leal, a Brazilian college student athlete at the University of Mobile, who loves to play and teach tennis at any time. I would like to pass my knowledge and passion for the sport to my students so they can have a good time just like I do. I have been coaching tennis for almost 3 years to kids, teenagers, and adults at beginner and intermediate levels. In the summer of 2024, I worked at Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, New York, where I had the opportunity to coach several people. On my college campus, I give weekly lessons to kids aged 9. In addition, I have also helped students and teammates with strategy-focused and hitting sessions. I am extremely dedicated, persistent, patient, and professional. Most importantly, I love to help people and I will do my best to help you with your tennis goals. I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old in Brazil. I got to #12 in the country U16 and #800 in the world U18. I later played at UAB (D1 college) where I was the captain of the tennis team. During the summers I would teach large groups from all ages and private lessons as well. I love to be able to teach someone the proper technique to maximize their potential and I care a lot about my students. I have experience in clay and hard courts and I would say my style of play is lots of spin, consistency, energy, and focus on the serve.
