Stella, 4, and Laney, 6, were the two youngest who were familiar with swimming while using floatie devices. Their oldest sister was already proficient, and needed minimal supervision. While swimming that summer, Laney learned how to swim properly without floaties, and Stella learned how to swim with the use of floaties.
