Joseph, aged 5 when starting
I was Joseph's previous nanny in Illinois and would take he and his brothers swimming each summer. Joseph became my first real student who I taught proficiently how to swim. He wanted to learn, so I taught him. The following summer after the first, he no longer needed the use of goggles or floaties, and he was jumping off the diving boards by the third summer.
Stella and Laney, both under 8 when starting.
I looked after three girls, all under the age of ten, as a previous summer nanny in Illinois. Stella, 4, and Laney, 6, were the two youngest who were familiar with swimming while using floatie devices. Their oldest sister was already proficient, and needed minimal supervision. While swimming that summer, Laney learned how to swim properly without floaties, and Stella learned how to swim with the use of floaties. Because I was only a summer nanny, I wasn't able to fully teach them all about swimming. Years later, they all swim proficiently due to previous techniques I had taught them and continued practice.
Kennedy and Momo
Kennedy and Momo are my two newest students in Henderson, Nevada, that are learning how to swim properly and proficiently. They are currently in their beginning phase of learning how to swim. By August, they should be proficient.
