My name is Lucas Ntapuan Tatul, and I am currently completing my master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). I am 31 years old with 6 years of coaching experience and a license C holder. I teach soccer from age 3-20. I stay in Collinsville; Illinois. I developed talent, teach how to play soccer in all positions except goal keeping. My first lesson is fun and familiarization with the soccer ball and each other
With more than two decades of soccer passion and experience, I create a fun, supportive environment where players of all levels can thrive. As a former college player at Maryville University and college coach at UHSP, I bring both high-level playing experience and proven coaching strategies to every session. I currently run a college sports recruiting company (CSR - College Sport Recruiter) dedicated to helping student-athletes get recruited and play soccer at the next level. I also previously served as the Manager of Soccer Operations at TOCA Soccer STL, where I led a team of high-intensity trainers focused on elite player development. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming for college soccer, I’m here to help you unlock your full potential and love the game even more.
"Coach Gus is the best! I used to be nervous on the field, but now I feel way more confident. He always makes our training fun and teaches me things in a way that’s easy to understand. I’ve already improved my footwork and learned how to pass better with both feet!
With 11 years of playing experience, including five years competing at the NCAA Division I college level and two seasons playing professionally in Iceland, I bring a strong playing background and a passion for developing young soccer players. I have coached players ages 8, 10, and 12 in Iceland, as well as served as a lead soccer coach with Best Kids Tampa as part of an after-school program. I have also provided private lessons to high school players.
