Hi, I’m Coach Jason, a dedicated pickleball coach with 3 years of experience helping players of all levels improve their game, from beginners to competitive 4.0 players looking to sharpen their skills, strategy, and consistency. My coaching focuses on building a strong foundation that includes footwork, stroke mechanics, shot selection, court positioning and recognizing patterns. Encouragement is a big part of my coaching style. I believe players improve faster when they feel supported.

Fueled from a life long passion for racquet sports including playing for UC Irvine tennis 1986-1990, I became a dedicated pickleball enthusiast in January 2021. I started at over 190 lbs and currently am at 160 lbs and in the best shape I have been for the last 20+ years, so I know the benefits of pickleball. Not to mention the wide array of good friends I have made over the years. I currently compete at the Senior Pro level and my DUPR rating is over 5.0 in both singles and doubles. I work with all levels of pickleball players and have coached students now competing at the professional level. I am an IPTPA certified instructor and my teaching philosophy is not just about how to swing the paddle, but teaching the art of pickleball - strategy, spins, footwork, and how to get the most out of your game.

I have been an athlete my entire life and have been a dedicated runner including Ultra Marathon distances . New to this platform! I’ve been playing tennis my whole life, and started playing pickleball in 2019. Also working as a Surf and Soccer instructor, I’ve got experience and am passionate about teaching others. As a 4.5+ tournament champion, I bring years of patience and experience to my lessons, focusing on development on areas that need improvement, while keeping things fun, lighthearted and informative.
