Five years ago, during the pandemic, I began playing pickleball regularly, quickly falling in love with the sport. Over the past two years, I've immersed myself in the game, playing, drilling, and competing in tournaments up to four times per week. While unofficially coaching beginners during this time, my passion for pickleball has grown immensely, driving me to train towards becoming a senior pickleball professional. I started playing pickleball in 2014 and have been successful in local tournament play events. Due to my early experience, I started the pickleball program at my local tennis club in Scripps Ranch as it increased from 2 to 4 to 8 pickleball courts. From there, with the help of the tennis pro, we started with large groups (30 -40 players) for pickleball training sessions years ago until interrupted by the Covid pandemic. We were able to start training again in 2023 with our current expanded player base. For the last few years, I have continued with private training sessions at local recreation areas, parks and at résidences.
