Attention DFW!!! 40 years of formal training on piano, voice, acting & musical theatre! I am willing to travel to you or you can come to me. I specifically teach in the Dallas/ Mid-Citi area specifically the areas surrounding downtown, Carrollton/Lewisville, Irving, H-E-B area, Arlington, Grand Prairoe, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, Kennedale, Mansfield, and areas in between. I would absolutely LOVE to coach your kiddo(s)! Music and theatre are my passions- sharing it with others is my joy. For over 40 years, I have been a student- I am still actively learning and will do that for life! For 28 years, I've helped students find their voices and express themselves through piano, theatre, acting and singing. I have particular expertise in vocal training specifically for students who are looking to improve their choral singing, working to improve their R&B, pop, and jazz sound. My biggest specialty is Musical Theatre training including the acting part of that genre. 26 years of teaching experience, with a background in audio/music and video production. I play keyboard and piano with local bands and churches, and enjoy using this experience to help students learn to use lead sheets, chord voicings, and improvisation as well as traditional music reading, ear training, and theory. I'm also a piano instructor at Funkytown Music Academy. I also teach part-time at Artes de la Rosa at the Rose Marine theater for multimedia and keyboards.
