I earned a scholarship to a Division I university, where I competed in a highly competitive NCAA environment. My coach, who had worked with professional players like Kite, Watson, and Weiskopf, imparted valuable knowledge about golf's mental game and mechanics. My coaching journey began when my daughter insisted she wouldn't play varsity golf unless I coached.
