Originally from the West Coast. I have played golf most of my life. Moved to Florida to play Collegiate Golf at UNF. After college I made several runs at the pros. I still play recreationally and have been known to play in Pro-Am and Open events.
"I had to cancel lesson due to family emergency hospital visits but he was always prompt on messaging me and asking questions if I decide to come back after handling my issues Joe will be the coach I give a real chance and shot to be my teacher that’s for sure
With over 10 years in the golf industry, I am passionate about helping golfers of all skill levels improve their game and enjoy the sport. My love for golf began on my high school golf team and grew into a career focused on teaching and player development. I am dedicated to creating a positive, supportive enviroment where students can build confidence, consistency, and reach their full potential on and off the course.
With over 50 years in the game, I bring elite playing experience and mentorship-driven coaching to golfers who want real improvement. I’ve played iconic courses like Pine Valley, St. Andrews (Old Course), Muirfield, Winged Foot, Pinehurst No. 2, and TPC Sawgrass — and I teach the strategic insights those venues demand. My approach focuses on four pillars: solid fundamentals, smart course management, mental performance, and youth development. Lessons are structured, personalized, and built around lowering scores — especially through short-game mastery and confident decision-making. Whether you’re breaking 100, 90, or 80, I’ll help you build a repeatable game you can trust.
"Steve is my husband of only 3 years. We lived on a Golf course in San Diego and played the game Horse on the putting green 2-3 nights a week. He helped me to feel comfortable and confident about what to do on a golf course. I was so nervous always. Now everything is fun. It’s only a game and Steve has shown me not to take it to seriously.
