"I am so happy to have met coach clay. I always played, but never knew I could possibly play in high school after this year, but now i know i have the confidence to tryout for the team. I have 8 more months until the season begins but I am ready for the challenge, thanks coach clay for helping me & believing in me

Former college basketball player and USA Basketball certified coach who has been working with athletes for over ten years, emphasizing the FUNdamentals of sports. I design practices that enhance decision-making, perception, and creativity under pressure. Training goes beyond drills and mechanics to develop athletes who can read the game and perform when it matters most.

"My 13 yr old grandson was down on himself because he had a lot of bench time and was struggling to get the ball into the basket. After just one lesson with Coach Neil, he played his best game ever later that same day. He made 2 of his 3 shots-one was a 3 pointer and both were “nothin’ but net.” He was more aggressive and confident at defense too. After the game, he was smiling and when we congratulated him, he said, “I just did what Coach Neil told me to do.”

With 8 years of basketball instruction, I foster skill development in a positive environment. I'm committed to helping players of all levels achieve their full potential on and off the court, while still keeping it fun!

"Coach B is more than a coach. That’s why I love training with him. He understands the game from both perspectives. Which is why it’s easy to connect with him. Definitely would recommend him

My name is Joey Potts, and I’ve played professional basketball for three years. Two years overseas in Romania and Norway, and one with the Salem Capitals in Oregon. I’m a 6’9” power forward who competed at the junior college, Division I (Oregon State), and NAIA (Oregon Tech) levels. My experience across multiple levels gives me a unique perspective on the game. I’ve coached and trained players ranging from 5 years old to high school and college athletes.

I’m Wayne Mendezona, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Corban University and founder of Quick Handle Basketball. I’ve spent over 30+ years developing athletes and have trained more than 50,000 players—from youth to college and professional levels. I specialize in ball handling, scoring, and game performance—helping athletes build confidence, decision-making, and real in-game results. My training is not just drills—it’s about developing complete players who can perform under pressure, think the game, and separate themselves from the competition. I don’t train average. I train athletes who are serious about growth, discipline, and competing at a higher level. If that’s you, let’s get to work.

"My son said Coach Mendo was far and away the most effective coach he's ever worked with! His knowledge, tools, and willingness to share wisdom are incredible. I've never seen my son so impressed by a coach or heard him so enthusiastic about what he learned in a session. Very grateful!
