Player/coach with a lifetime of basketball experience, that I would love to pass down to the youth of Tulsa and beyond. Each player has incredibly specific needs, which are rarely catered to in the ways the student would prefer. I believe this is where my coaching truly shines. “If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” “See the floor.”
"Troy Smith was a positive role model as an athlete. He was an extremely hard worker, always willing to go the extra mile. He was the type of player who respected the coach's position and was a true student of the game of basketball. For these reasons, I am confident that Troy Smith will be a tremendous asset to your program.
Dedicated and experienced athletic trainer and coach with a strong background in player development, team management, and youth mentorship. Former multi-sport and collegiate athlete with hands-on experience in coaching, film analysis, and training coordination.
"Ms. Shelly is a great trainer. My son wanted to get better so we took him to her. She started off slow and really got an understanding of what my son was trying to do and where he was at skills wise. She made him work hard but kept it fun. She even had her son come up and help with a couple lessons so they can have “boy time”. Her son is amazing and she trained him. They even made nicknames for each other and my son went to watch her son play. Ms Shelly sat with us and talked through things with my son that they had been working on. It was fun to see things click when they were talking about it.
